Minisforum announced a new water-cooled mini PC at Computex. The AtomMan X7 Pt does not have an integrated GPU, but it does have a Ryzen 8 SoC. The manufacturer continues to produce a mini PC with a narrow but high form factor with an integrated RTX 4070 card.

Minisforum displays products during Computex. These are two mini PCs within the AtomMan line, a sub-brand the company started earlier this year and of which Minisforum actually showed off a prototype last month. The AtomMan X7 Pt is therefore a slightly modified version of the previous X7 Ti. The most striking difference of the new Pt is that it is equipped with water cooling. Minisforum did not mention what type of water cooling this is, but Tweakers saw at the exhibition booth that the cooling radiator is located at the top of the device, above the CPU block. The motherboard is located at the bottom of the device.

The mini PC has an AMD Ryzen 8 8945HS SoC. Although it has a Radeon 780M IGPU, the X7 Pt does not have a discrete video card. Users can connect it via Oculink port on PC. The mini PC also has two 2.5GbE Ethernet ports and two USB4 ports, as well as an HDMI port and four USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports.

In addition to the X7 Pt, Minisforum is also showing off the G7 Ti, a mini PC with a noticeably tall and narrow form factor. The dimensions of the model are 396.5 x 236 x 32.5 mm, but despite its shape it has an integrated GeForce RTX 4070 GPU. Minisforum powers the mini PC, which also falls under the AtomMan brand, with a Core i9 14900HX SoC. The computer also has two M.2 2280 SSDs and has an Ethernet port, two USB-A ports, a USB-C port, and video output via HDMI 2.1.

The PC runs Windows 11, but Minisforum also installs its own Control Center software on it. This allows users to control things like fans and RGB lighting. This software was also previously available on the V3 tablet that it announced earlier this year. The company tells Tweakers that it will equip all of its future devices with this software.
