These are the best apps and games for the third week in 2024
Every week we list the best, most beautiful or most eye-catching apps of the week. We explain what makes the app unique and why you should (or shouldn’t) download it. There’s no time to waste, who knows, you might soon be singing, playing, cycling or racing using this week’s apps and games.
1. Moses
Are you a musician and do you like singing or playing your favorite songs? Then try Moises on your Android smartphone. This application allows you to analyze numbers. This way you can easily listen to the singer on your own, or do without him altogether.
With the built-in smart metronome, you can make sure you’re playing at the right time, and if you prefer it to be a little faster or slower, you can easily adjust the tempo. The app also displays the correct note directly, so you never play too high or too low. Want to remix a song with a good beat? Then you can also do it in the Moises app.

2. Plants vs. Zombies 3
Plants vs. Zombies is an indispensable title in 21st century gaming. In this series of games, you play a plant against – you guessed it – zombies and the latest installment does this again in a game Tower defense style. This way you will defend yourself against hordes of zombies using tactically selected plants.
EA, the game’s manufacturer, has chosen to give Holland first access to the first part. So, you can already download it from Google Play Store, but some elements may change over time. For now, you can enjoy the new plants, levels and graphics.
3. Shwong
You may have already seen it in your municipality: signs pointing to Schwung. By installing this app, you may be able to quickly pass traffic lights in your city. The app monitors your location anonymously so traffic lights can switch more intelligently. This way hopefully you’ll get the green light faster.
Not all intersections in all Dutch cities support the Schwung service, but the list goes on. There are 27 municipalities that currently support it. Want to know if it works in your area? Then download the application and view the map.
4. The art of gathering
Art of Rally was released on PC in 2020 and on most consoles a year later. Now the racing game is finally available on Android. The game has beautiful low poly graphics and unique rally game gameplay. You can watch from a high angle, which makes the game more fascinating.
While drifting across desert, steppe, flatlands and icebergs in iconic cars from the 1960s. The better you do this, the higher your daily and weekly ranking will be. The game can be played starting this week, so be sure to sign up to pre-register.
