Razer is showing off a “modular desk” prototype, Project Sophia. This desk has a 65-inch OLED screen, a built-in computer and space for interchangeable units, eg for touch screens. The company also announced a gaming chair with haptic feedback.

Razer displays the prototype during CES. There, the company reports that the computer and various modules are magnetically attached to the bottom of the desk. Razer supplies the Concept Agency with a computer equipped with the latest Intel CPU and Nvidia GPU. The company won’t go into details, but the images show a computer with laptop-like cooling, so it could be CPUs and mobile GPUs.

The desk also provides space for thirteen interchangeable units, which, according to Razer, can be freely adapted for different use cases. For example, Razer mentions modules with a file Capture the cardOr touch screens that can be set to hot keys, a wireless charger, or a cup warmer.

Project Sophia is also equipped with Chroma RGB LEDs and an integrated 65-inch OLED screen that acts as a screen. The height of the desk does not appear to be adjustable and the position of the OLED screen also appears to be fixed. Engadget writes That Razer may also be working on a 77-inch model, but it’s not yet clear if Project Sophia will make it to market.

Razer Enki Pro HyperSense Gaming Chair with Haptic Feedback

The manufacturer also announced the Enki Pro HyperSense gaming chair. The company developed this chair in collaboration with D-BOX. Enki Pro HyperSense has a haptic feedback engine. The system, according to the company, is supported in “more than 2,200 games, movies and music,” citing games like F1 2021, Forza Horizon 5 and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. These are Compatible games too With existing D-Box haptic feedback systems.

The company also talks about support for “almost all popular streaming services” for media. The chair also has a headrest with RGB LED lights. It is unknown if Razer will market the Enki Pro HyperSense and the company has not mentioned a suggested retail price.
