Allegedly, a Ubisoft employee posted on LinkedIn that Assassin’s Creed Codename Red should be released in 2024. The action game takes place in feudal Japan. Codename Red was previously announced by Ubisoft and should be released after Mirage.

In the meantime, the employee has modified the post, so Animus access detailsthough it still says the partnership will be for ‘next year’, which again seems to be referring to a 2024 release date.
In the previous Codename Red announcement, Ubisoft had already said that the game should be released sometime after Assassin’s Creed Mirage. The French developer is going back to the basics of the series with Assassin’s Creed Mirage, Tweakers described in a preview. The next major game in the AC franchise will be released on October 12th.
Every Assassin’s Creed game since the original game of the same name from 2007 has been released in October or November. If the information about Assassin’s Creed Codename Red is correct, the game is likely to be released in the fall of 2024.
