Nvidia will release an improved version of the GeForce RTX 4080 “early 2024,” claims the MegasizeGPU leaker. It will be either the RTX 4080 Ti or 4080S. While the original had the AD103 GPU, this unit is said to have the AD102 of the RTX 4090.

It must be the TGP of the GPU According to MegasizeGPU Stay under 450 watts. This is lower than the RTX 4090’s TGP, although power consumption will likely be higher than the 4080’s 320W. It is still unknown how many CUDA cores the video card has. The original RTX 4080 has 9,728 cores while the 4090 has 16,384, so the number of cores is likely somewhere in between. The rest of the specifications were not mentioned VideoCardz is already suspected The card will also have a memory capacity of between 4080 and 4090. This means that the GPU will have 20GB of GDDR6x memory and a 320-bit memory bus.

According to the leaker, the more powerful 4080 GPU is in the same price range as the original. At the time of its release, the suggested retail price was €1,469. MegasizeGPU doesn’t know if it’s a 4080S or Ti. However, since Nvidia seems to have stopped offering ‘Super’ variants of its video cards for some time, this will most likely be the RTX 4080 Ti.
