Lenovo launches budget phone with optical image stabilization – Tablets & Phones – News

Lenovo today introduces three new Motorola smartphones in the Benelux countries: Moto G54 5G, Moto G84 5G, and Edge 40 Neo. All three smartphones have a 50MP main camera with optical stabilization and are available with a faux leather back.

The trio is for sale now. The G54 5G phone is available with a storage capacity of 128 GB and 4 GB RAM at a price of 180 euros, or with a storage capacity of 256 GB and 8 GB RAM at a price of 200 euros. The G84 5G and Edge 40 Neo are only available here with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM and are priced at €300 and €400 respectively.

Both the frame and the back of the devices are made of plastic. Some color variants have a smooth plastic back, but you can also opt for a faux leather finish, which feels a little more solid and fingerprints aren’t as easily seen. The Edge 40 Neo, which is in line with the more expensive Edge 40 and Edge 40 Pro, features an IP68 water-resistant casing. The Moto G84 5G is only splash-resistant (IP54) and the G54 5G does not have an IP rating.

Moto G54 5G and Moto G84 5G

The Moto G54 5G and G84 5G have a 6.5-inch display with Full HD resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The G84 5G has an OLED display while the G54 5G has an LCD display. Both models have stereo speakers, a 3.5 mm port, and a microSD card. Inside the G54 5G is a Mediatek Dimensity 7020 SoC, and the G84 5G has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. The G84 5G’s 5,000mAh battery can be charged at 30W, and the G54 5G supports a 15W charging speed. Comes with a charger in the box.

Motorola Moto G54 5G (Black) and Moto G84 5G

The new Moto G devices have three cameras on the back. The main camera is 50 MP with a sensor area of ​​50 square millimeters and optical image stabilization. Edge 40 Neo

The Edge 40 Neo also has a 6.5-inch display. Like other devices in the Edge series, the OLED display features curved side edges. The refresh rate is a maximum of 144 Hz and the maximum brightness is 1,300 cd/m2. The Edge 40 Neo has stereo speakers and supports ReadyFor, but it does not have a 3.5mm port or memory card reader. The device is powered by a Mediatek 7030 SoC with 5G and Wi-Fi 6E support and has a 5,000 mAh battery.

Like the Moto G phones above, the Edge 40 Neo has a 50MP main camera with a 50mm² sensor and image stabilization.
