Samsung Unpacked 2023: Our predictions

It has become a tradition for Samsung to organize a big event twice a year where they present new products. This past February, it was all about the Galaxy S23 series.

Next Wednesday, July 26, promises to be a real holiday for fans of the South Korean manufacturer. Then we will see new smartphones, tablets, smart watches, and maybe more. We list our expectations from Samsung Unpacked 2023.

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5

We dare get our hands on fire for this one: Samsung will definitely announce the Galaxy Z Fold 5. This is the company’s new foldable phone that you slot into a compact tablet. It runs on the fast Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 For Galaxy chip, but that’s not the main improvement.

The device will get a new hinge with a water droplet structure. As a result, there is no longer a gap between the two halves when the smartphone is closed. Moreover, the fold in the middle is less noticeable. know more? Then read all of our predictions for the Galaxy Z Fold 5.

Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5

You can’t miss this either. Galaxy Z Flip 5 is Samsung’s new foldable phone. The main improvement in this case is on the outside where we find a second, larger screen of 3.4 inches. This makes it easy to check your notifications and you can also use the screen to take selfies.

The Flip 5’s main competitor, the Motorola Razr 40 Ultra, lets you run entire apps on its second screen. It remains to be seen if this will also be possible with the new Samsung.

Just like the Fold 5, the Flip 5 is powered by Galaxy’s very fast Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. The cameras are also being improved.

Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 (Classic)

Are you ready for a new smartwatch? You are most likely looking forward to the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 and Watch 6 Classic. The regular version will again be available in 40 and 44 mm sizes. However, since the bezels are thinner than those on the Galaxy Watch 5, the screen grows to 1.31 and 1.47 inches, respectively.

You can buy the Watch 6 Classic in a 43 or 47 mm case. The screen diagonals are the same as on the regular version, but the Classic has a large bezel that actually goes around it. You can use it to scroll through menus or adjust the volume of the wireless earbuds.

Possible prices for the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 have also been leaked. For the cheapest version you would have lost 319 euros. The Classic goes for as little as 419 euros without a prescription.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series

Introducing the Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Plus

Samsung also does not forget about fans of high-end tablets. The Galaxy Tab S9 series consists of three variants that are all powered by the aforementioned Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 of the Galaxy chip. This makes them super fast devices that you can use for gaming or video editing.

The Tab S9 has an 11-inch screen, while the Tab S9 Plus has a diagonal of 12.4 inches. If that’s not big enough, you’ll have to rely on the gigantic Tab S9 Ultra with its 14.6-inch screen. All variants have an OLED panel this year. Good news, because the smallest Tab S8 had to contend with a less pretty LCD last year.

The Tab S9 Ultra is also rumored to be water resistant thanks to the IP67 certification. That might also apply to its cheaper brethren, but we don’t know for sure yet.

Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and the new SmartTag?

It is only natural that the above 4 products provide the pomball event. Two more can be added. Samsung could introduce new earbuds, the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro.

However, rumors about this contradict each other. It is also possible that Samsung will release these caps at a later date. The same goes for the Smart Tag 2, a new Bluetooth tracker that can last longer and can accurately locate your belongings.
