Bose Introduces QuietComfort Ultra Headphones and Earplugs – Picture & Sound – News

Bose introduces three new audio products: QuietComfort Ultra, QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds and QuietComfort Headphones. The wireless headphones and earbuds replace current models in the Bose range.

The QuietComfort Ultra headphones and earbuds feature spatial audio, which Bose has renamed “immersive audio.” The function consists of two options. With “Still” the sound is frozen and with “Motion” the sound moves with the user’s head. The user’s head movements are detected by sensors built into the audio devices. There is also noise reduction and transparency mode.

Bose uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Sound Technology Suite for its QuietComfort Ultra headphones and earbuds. This enables support for aptX Adaptive, which enables lossless audio and low latency. The Ultra range also has Bluetooth 5.3

The Bose QuietComfort Ultra headphones replace the Noise Canceling Headphones 700. The headphones are priced at 500 euros and are available in black and smoke white. When immersive sound is enabled, the headphones’ battery should last up to 18 hours. If the mode is disabled, that is According to Bose Maximum 24 hours.

The QuietComfort Ultra earbuds replace the QuietComfort 2 earbuds that came out last year. The wireless earplugs are priced at €350 and are also available in black and white. The wireless earbuds offer up to 6 hours of battery life with the overall sound turned off. When the feature is enabled, the earplugs should last up to 4 hours. Bose also says it offers improved call quality.

The audio manufacturer is also releasing QuietComfort headphones to replace the QuietComfort 45. These headphones also feature noise cancellation, the level of which can now be adjusted. Instead of Bluetooth 5.3, the headphones use Bluetooth 5.1. The immersive audio function on the Ultra models is also missing. Battery life is up to 24 hours after a full charging session. Bose launches QuietComfort headphones at a price of 400 euros.

Both the QuietComfort Ultra and QuietComfort Ultra earbuds will be released in October. The QuietComfort headphones will ship starting September 21.
