Quinte Trustvoll (52) has presented the TV show “Koffietijd” for many years. Although she always loved it and never doubted her desire to do it, there were conditions imposed on presenting such a daily show. She could not go on vacation and was not actually allowed to get sick, as she wrote in her column in “Libelle”.

“I already knew: yes, of course I would do it”

Quinte says John de Mol asked her to do the show. He urged her to think about it carefully first. “I understand that it’s a daily show. You can’t just go on vacation, you have to be there every day, getting sick is really not possible and you have to do it on top of that.” Home and private garden “Yes,” he said at the time, according to Quinti.

John gave her a week to think about it, after which they would have another conversation. But Quinte knew right away that she wanted to accept the challenge. “I already knew: Yes, of course I would do it.”

She immediately reveals in her column some details about the first meeting with co-host Loretta Shriver. “Our first meeting was in the RTL building, and I went there with my manager and my friend Hans. I was very nervous, what if it hadn’t happened?”

Fortunately, Quinte and Loretta had good chemistry right away. According to Quinte, it was a “good, fun conversation.” The jokes were also thrown back and forth immediately. So it was no surprise that Quinte found the show’s end after nearly thirteen years a difficult moment:
