Phanteks showed off several new enclosures during Computex 2024. This includes the Evolv X2 enclosure, where the front and sides are made of glass. The housing is expected to be released around October for an unknown suggested retail price.
The glass sides of the Evolv X2 make the inside of the case clearly visible. The chassis also has aluminum inner panels and a slot for three 120mm fans, which are mounted at the bottom of the chassis. The motherboard tray also has cable channels to hide the PSU cables. The case also supports “cableless” motherboards.
Phanteks also offers the Eclipse G400A and G400N, which are improved versions of the P400(A). The cases have a different mesh on the front that will provide better airflow. Behind the motherboard tray are integrated cable management channels.
The G400N is the more advanced version of the two. This housing comes with a hub for the Phanteks Nexlinq system, which allows the fans to be connected together. This chassis also has glass side panels on both sides, where the G400A only has a glass panel on the left side. The G400A costs €99.90, while the G400N costs €129.90. It is still unknown when they will appear.
Finally, Phanteks has announced the MKII versions of the NV5 and NV9. Both cases are very similar to their predecessors, the NV5 and NV9. The main difference between the MKII versions and previous variants is that these cases support motherboards with power connectors on the back.
The NV5 MKII will be available for €110. The NV9 MKII will cost 250 euros. The release date has not been announced yet.
