* On Nov. 13, a male student was observed drinking a beer on the northeast porch of King Hall. He was issued a citation for “Possession of Alcohol Where Prohibited” and “Consuming Alcohol After Hours.”* On Nov. 10, a female student reported that her vehicle had been vandalized in the North Sorority Hill Lot. Officers determined that the long scratch on the driver’s side of the vehicle was inflicted with a key. * Also on Nov. 10:* An 18-year-old male student was issued a citation for “Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol by a Minor” during a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Avenue H. He was released to a sober driver. * A 19-year-old female student was issued a citation for “Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol by a Minor” during a traffic stop in the 1200 block of 19th Street. She was released to a sober driver.* On Nov. 9, UPD was called to the University Bookstore after a female customer was reportedly seen stealing a textbook. The subject was interviewed and released after refusing to answer any questions. Criminal charges are pending.* Also on Nov. 9:* During a traffic stop in the 900 block of 16th Street, a 19-year-old female student was issued a citation for “Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol by a Minor.” She was released to a sober driver.* An 18-year-old male student was issued a citation in White Hall Lot 1 for “Minor in Possession of an Alcoholic Beverage” when an open 30-pack of beer was observed in the front seat of his illegally parked vehicle. The beer was disposed of at the scene.* A 20-year-old female student was found to be under the influence during a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Avenue J. She was issued a citation for “Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol by a Minor” and released to a sober driver. * On Nov. 7, an officer issued a citation of “Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol by a Minor” to an 18-year-old, male, non-student. This was after it was determined that he was intoxicated during a traffic stop in the area of Jackson Shaver Hall. He was released to a sober adult.
