Pull out that bikini and prepare to get foamy as Quarters gears up to host Huntsvilles first ever foam party tonight. After attending a foam party in Colorado with his wife, Ed Delagarza, owner of Quarters, decided to bring this lathered up good time to Huntsville. “Six machines produce up to four feet of foam which totally immerse you,” Delagarza said. The foam is not like the foam you might get from using bubble bath, its a dry foam, it wont leave you wet and it washes right out. Delagarza recommends not wearing red or white clothing though. “Its supposed to be in the seventies that night and thats the perfect temperature for a foam party,” Delagarza said. Along with a slippery good time with the foam, Quarters will offer its traditional Thursday night drink special, $3 Long Island ice tea pitchers. Delagarza said Quarters is planning to make foam parties a regular event planning to host one at least once a month. “A great staff, great drinks and a great atmosphere equal a lot of fun,” Delagarza said. There is a $5 cover to get in but people who show up in their spring break style bikinis get in free. Doors open at 9 p.m. and close at midnight.
