The Greek phone book is here! The Greek phone book is here!Well not quite. But it’s on the way, according to Sarah Hargrave, an SHSU marketing major and vice president of her pledge class for Phi Chi Theta Business Fraternity. She’s also been assigned head of fund raising.”We’re still in the beginning but it’s coming along,” said Hargrave about the phone book in progress. The publication will be SHSU’s first Greek only phone book. “It will include sororities, fraternities, business, honor groupsbasically any organization with Greek letters in the name,” said Hargrave.Hargrave said she got the idea when she a friend of hers in Kappa Alpha were discussing fund raising techniques. To fund the project, Hargrave is selling business ads to run in the new phone book. Personal ads are also available for $5 a square, she said.Hargrave said the phone book has the potential to unify the different sororities and fraternities at SHSU.The Greek phone book should be available in about two weeks and will sell for $1 to $3, said Hargrave.
