It’s good to see that.” Hanagriff also said that, as a team, the students have progressed quite a bit since last year.”Last year we had a lot of very good individual students. But as a team we’re a lot stronger this year and that makes us more competitive,” said Hanagriff. “But we still have a lot to work on.”Likewise, Jayne is hoping that the team improves as the year progresses.”We’re starting the year pretty strong and I’m glad it’s coming together for my senior year. I really hope we can make something happen,” said Jayne. Also at the rodeo, a special “Kids Rodeo” was organized and put on by Rodeo Team members Wendy Schuler and Craig Boyd.”(The Kids’ Rodeo) is an annual event that helped show the kids a special time with SHSU Rodeo team members partnering up with the children from Bayes Achievement Center (a local special needs school in Huntsville),” said Hanagriff. The College Sports Network taped the rodeo for telecast, though the broadcast date is currently pending. The Rodeo Team will be competing next in the McNeese State Rodeo the last weekend in October and Stephen F.
